The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the group reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners tables.

Fans can expect finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
